Is your brand invisible to ChatGPT?
Enter your website and get a visibility score out of 100 — plus the gaps keeping you out of AI answers.
What is the AI Visibility Checker?
The AI Visibility Checker is a free tool that assesses how likely AI assistants are to name your brand when a buyer asks for recommendations in your category, and returns a visibility score from 0 to 100 alongside the specific gaps holding you back.
This checker gives you a read on where you stand. Tell it your brand, your website, and what you actually sell, and it assesses how an AI assistant would most plausibly answer a buyer in your category — whether you'd be named, which competitors would be named instead, and the specific reasons behind it.
Why does AI visibility matter now?
Buyers have stopped starting at Google. They ask ChatGPT which brand to buy, and they get one answer — a shortlist of three or four names, with no second page to scroll to. If your brand isn't in that shortlist, you aren't losing a ranking position. You're not in the conversation at all.
How the checker works
Start with your website. The score appears on this page the moment it's ready, and lands in your inbox as well.
- 01
Enter your website
One field to start. We scan the domain, then ask you to confirm your brand and specifically what you sell — plus, optionally, the prompts your customers would actually type, which the assessment weights toward.
- 02
We assess your likely AI visibility
Our AI model reads your homepage, weighs the signals it finds against what it already knows about your brand and how AI answers are assembled, and scores how likely you are to be named.
- 03
You get a score and the gaps behind it
A visibility score out of 100, the competitors likely named instead, and three to five specific findings ordered by how much fixing them would move the number.
What the number means
Most brands that have never been optimised for AI search land under 50. That's the normal result, not a verdict on the business.
- 0–24Invisible
- AI assistants answering for your category almost certainly don't name you.
- 25–49Barely registering
- You surface occasionally, but competitors take the answer most of the time.
- 50–74Inconsistent
- You're known in the category but not a dependable part of the answer.
- 75–100Reliably cited
- You're likely named among the leading options — worth defending.
What this tool does — and what it doesn't
- What it does
- Reads your homepage and scores the signals an AI model relies on: how clearly the page states who you are, whether structured data is in place, and whether the content can be lifted out as a citable answer. We weigh that against what a frontier model already knows about you and how answers in your category get built. If the page serves almost no readable text, or has no structured data, that is itself one of the most useful findings you can get.
- What it doesn't do
- It does not run live queries against ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews, and it does not report what any of those systems said on a given day. There are no invented metrics here — no citation counts, no rankings, no traffic figures.
- Where the precise version comes from
- The free AI-search audit is the manual one: we test your brand against real prompts across the answer engines by hand, verify what comes back, and write it up. That's the number you can take to a board.
